Designed to win: the Gather House takes First Place at the 2026 Parade of Homes

The Gather House at Farmstead 44 is a 2026 Parade of Homes winner. At the HBA Lake-Sumter showcase, our Eustis home earned First Place in the $389,000–$417,000 category, along with the Merit Award for Best Layout / Use of Space.
For Urban Hideaway®, those two honors speak to the same ambition: a home should be beautiful to look at and effortless to live in. The Gather House was designed for the moments that make a house feel like home—a quiet morning, an extra guest, a conversation that carries from the kitchen to the dining table.
For us, that starts with the plan. How does someone move through the home? Where does furniture belong without interrupting circulation? How do shared spaces support conversation while quieter areas provide a retreat? Finishes matter, but they are most effective when the underlying spaces make sense.
There is also a difference between giving a home character and filling it with competing ideas. A coherent palette, a deliberate detail and a comfortable transition to the outdoors can do more than a long list of decorative statements. The aim is a home that people can make their own.
Farmstead 44 brings that approach to a small community. Winning First Place and a Merit Award gives us a reason to celebrate the finished home—and the thoughtful decisions that make its spaces work every day.
Explore Farmstead 44 for more of the project story. Our standard remains straightforward: the spaces people use every day deserve as much attention as the spaces that make the first impression.
